C6) Castrovirreyna (Huancavelica), Huaytara (Huancavelica),
Pisco (Ica) and Chincha (Ica)

The itinerary of this trip could be made as follows: You travel from Lima to Castrovirreyna, after to Huaytara, after to Pisco, and at the end to Chincha Alta, then You return to Lima.

Obs. The example of the itinerary presented in the previous paragraph, only shows one of the ways to make the journey, because the number of cities You visit and the time You spend in each city depends on the availability You have.

Paracas ( climate temperate and humid ) and San Clemente ( climate temperate and humid ) belong to the province of Pisco.

Route Lima – Castrovirreyna

This road usually takes 8 hours ( without considering the stop in San Clemente ), It is asphalted until Pampano, after It  is unpaved.

The route can be made in 2 segments, the first from Lima to San Clemente ( 3 hours ) and the second from San Clemente to Castrovirreyna ( 5 hours ).

In the first segment from Lima to San Clemente the transport is performed by buses, these buses depart and return from Lima to San Clemente constantly. The transport companies that go over this road are: Soyus, Flores, among others.

In the second segment from San Clemente to Castrovirreyna the transport is performed by combis, these combis depart and return from San Clemente to Castrovirreyna daily in the mornings.

Route Lima – Huaytara

This asphalted road usually takes 5 hours ( without considering the stop in San Clemente  ).

The route can be made in 2 segments, the first from Lima to San Clemente ( 3 hours ) and the second from San Clemente to Huaytara ( 2 hours ).

In the f irst segment from Lima to San Clemente the transport is performed by buses, these buses depart and return from Lima to San Clemente constantly. The transport companies that go over this road are: Soyus, Flores, among others.

In the second segment from San Clemente to Huaytara the transport is performed by cars and small buses, these vehicle depart and return from San Clemente to Huaytara constantly.

Route Lima – Chincha ( Chincha Alta )

This asphalted road usually takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The route can be made directly, the transport is performed by buses, these buses depart and return from Lima to Chincha constantly. The transport companies that go over this road are: Soyus, Flores, among others.

Route Lima – Pisco

This asphalted road usually takes 3 hours and 20 minutes ( without considering the stop in the detour to Pisco ).

The route can be made in 2 segments, the first from Lima to the detour to Pisco ( 3 hours and 10 minutes ) and the second from the detour to Pisco to Pisco ( 10 minutes ).

In the first segment from Lima to the detour to Pisco the transport is performed by buses, these buses depart and return from Lima to the detour to Pisco constantly. The transport companies that go over this road are: Soyus, Flores, among others.

This asphalted road usually takes 3 hours and 40 minutes.

The route can be made directly, the transport is performed by buses, these buses depart and return from Lima to Paracas daily in the nights and mornings between 4 am and 7 am, and return in the evenings between 8 pm and 9 pm. The transport companies that go over this road are: Cruz del Sur, Oltursa, among others.

Route Castrovirreyna – Huaytara

This road usually takes 4 hours ( without considering the stop in Pampano ), It is asphalted until Pampano, after It  is unpaved.

The route can be made in 2 segments, the first from Castrovirreyna to Pampano ( 3 hours and 20 minutes ) and the second from Pampano to Huaytara ( 40 minutes ).

In the first segment from Castrovirreyna to Pampano the transport is performed by combis, You must take in Castrovirreyna the combis that depart and return from Castrovirreyna to San Clemente daily in the mornings, getting to Pampano in the mornings.

In the second segment from Pampano to Huaytara the transport is performed by cars and small buses, You must take in Pampano the vehicles that depart and return from San Clemente to Huaytara constantly.

Route Pisco – Chincha ( Chincha Alta )
